Share

After weeks of teasing different aspects, we finally have a 2024 Toyota Tacoma reveal date plus silhouette photos of different cab configurations.

2024 Toyota Tacoma reveal date

Toyota has officially said the new 2024 Toyota Tacoma will be unveiled on May 19, 2023.

This reveal date on a Friday bums those out who wanted to carry on with the Taco Tuesday timing Toyota has been using to release teaser images.

Cab and bed configurations

Along with the reveal date, Toyota shared silhouette photos of different cab configurations for the new Tacoma.

These cab and bed configurations look like an extended cab or access cab, using Toyota’s lingo, and a 6’ bed.

There is also a crew cab or double cab as Toyota calls it with a standard 5’ bed.

Then, there is a TrailHunter model like the spy photos showed us a few weeks ago. This model will feature a variety of Toyota and other aftermarket company accessories. Toyota has partnered with some of these brands like ARB bumpers, Yeti coolers, etc… to offer customers the opportunity to outfit their trucks how they like and add those accessories as part of their loan.

Finally, there is a TRD PRO model with its bigger tires, more ground clearance and a crew cab, 5’ bed setup. This is similar to what other brands have done with their off-road focused trucks.

What to expect for new truck

While the teasers are curious, here’s what (we think) we know about the 2024 Toyota Tacoma. It’ll have:

All of this is based on educated guesses and spy photos.

The bottom line

Finally, the teasers are over and now it is just a matter of weeks until the truck is revealed. It will be really interesting to see how the Tacoma stacks up to the new competition and to see where Toyota might have an advantage. Stay tuned!
