Internet sleuths have uncovered photos showing the 2024 Toyota Tacoma exterior ahead of the May 19 reveal date.
The exterior photo was found first through creative usage of typing different URL addresses for the Toyota website. This image from 4thgenTacoma.com shows a much more sculpted look for the midsize truck much like the 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD PRO model.
Standing out on this image is naturally going to be the teardrop like design for the headlights mirror the larger truck. There is also the light bar built into the grille and the Toyota lettering finishing off the TRD PRO look.
It also appears the cabin is taller than the current generation Tacoma with a much taller door.
Finally, skid plates and off-road tires seem like a sure bet, but the lack of tow hooks is likely to cause a big debate like it has done, again, with the larger truck.
After weeks of teaser images showing small aspects of the truck, we finally get to see a much bigger and complete photo of both the exterior and interior. These images confirm our suspicions of a mini-Tundra, but it would have been nice to see more differences between the trucks.
I am in the market for a new 2024 Toyota Tacoma Limited. I would like to make a suggestion for the new line of Toyota vehicles coming out. Having the serial number of the vehicle inscribed on the catalytic converter. This would help in preventing catalytic converter theft, and be a unique feature of the Toyota line of vehicles.
