For Jeep enthusiasts, there is no more exciting time than the Easter Jeep Safari held in Moab, Utah, each spring. This is where Mopar shows off its new accessories and performance parts and where fans get to see crazy concept vehicles. So, what will you see at the 2022 Easter Jeep Safari?
This year there will be two brand new concept vehicles from Jeep Performance Parts by Mopar (JPP), plus three more that were seen recently at SEMA but are coming to Moab for the first time. These concept Jeeps will show off the latest and greatest from Mopar’s design team this April 9-17.
With Jeep’s recent electrification of the Wrangler and the Grand Cherokee, we’re excited to see some decked-out 4xes conquer the iconic red-rock terrain in Moab, Utah.
A grand total of 10 Jeep and Jeep concept vehicles with an impressive lineup of powertrains will show off everything from Jeep’s first battery electric vehicle (BEV), the Wrangler Magneto and its cousin, the Wrangler Magneto 2.0, to four additional promised 4xe concept vehicles.
The full lineup includes:

If you’re wondering what makes this tiny beast look so badass, it could be the 12 inches added to the wheelbase, the 3-inch lift and the 40-inch tires on 20-inch wheels. But this concept is about a lot more than just looks.
Four lithium-ion battery packs offer a combined power of 70 kW/h, running an 800-volt system with an inverter derived from race cars to convert DC power to AC for the high-tech motor more than doubled last year’s concept to 600 amps, delivering up to 850 pound-feet of peak torque to the wheels – more than triple the torque output of last year’s concept – and 625 horsepower for serious off-road challenges.

The recent electrification of the Grand Cherokee gives performance parts makers the opportunity to create some really unique pieces for this vehicle including a custom roof rack, roofline, tie-downs, LED projector fog lamps, and Mopar rock rails for the stealthiest, most adventure-ready SUV in its class.

Based on the Wrangler Willys Jeep, this concept pairs the military grit of the past and the Wrangler 4xe’s electric-vehicle technology. Thanks to the 4xe plug-in hybrid powertrain this vehicle is capable of an estimated 49 MPGe and delivers up to 21 miles of nearly silent, zero-emission, electric-only propulsion. How’s that for the most capable, technically advanced and eco-friendly Wrangler ever?
This Jeep’s exterior color is an olive D.R.A.B. ’41 matte green finish. Paired with black bumpers, a Warn winch and JPP bumper hoop plus a retro trim cap to accentuate the vehicle’s tan soft-top, while JPP half-doors make outdoor adventures extra breezy.
To give the inside that real retro look, the ’41 concept is fitted with a retro shifter with a customized shifter cap from the Jeep Graphic Studio, as well as canvas-covered seats that feature digital camo inserts and Serafil 1043 stitching.

Twenty years ago, Jeep introduced the Wrangler Rubicon and it has been the benchmark for offroad capability ever since. To celebrate this anniversary, the design team at Jeep has paired the quick and powerful Wrangler 392 with a customized exterior that includes a custom wrap, a hood scoop, powertop and removeale side pannels, a winch and all kinds of off-road extras to make this one capable Rubicon.

If the Jeep Wrangler and the Jeep Gladiator got married and had a baby, the Jeep Bob Concept would be it. It’s based on the Wrangler, but has a “bobbed” Gladiator bed. The doors have been removed, the top is a stretched canvas and the suspension has been upgraded with a 3-inch lift, Kind Coil and Bypass shocks. Rounding out the “Bob” for a rip-roaring good time in the canyon are 40-inch tires on 20-inch wheels.

The good news about the Jeep D-Coder Concept by JPP is you can actually go home, order the parts and make one yourself. That’s right, this vehicle is decked out with parts that you can actually buy, and each one will sport a QR code you can scan while at the 2022 East Jeep Safari. This will take to you the Mopar site where you can see the price and order the product.
The Maraschino Red against that glossy black paint job is just outstanding and the Katzkin leather seats offer comfort and durability. A snorkel to keep the water out, a dual exhaust system, Gorilla Glass windshield, rock rails, tube doors and mirrors, stainless steel pedal covers and all-weather floormats are just a few of the modifications made to this Gladiator.

The most open-air concept in the 2022 Easter Jeep Safari lineup, this one has even had its windshield and wipers removed. Built on the 4xe for a silent off-road experience this Jeep is not only capable but eco-friendly too.
With extra-wide 37-inch tires that’ll get you anywhere, Jeep had to add some spacers to the taillights to keep this vehicle inside the parameters for federal regulations. A custom skid plate protects the recessed winch for increased ground clearance and underbody lights illuminate the ground at all four corners while rock rails help to protect the vehicle.
You may have seen these three before, either in pictures or in person at SEMA but the 2022 Easter Jeep Safari will be their Moab debut. The Jeep Wrangler 4xe concept is a great example of how you, an off-roader could modify this award-winning plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) with factory-backed items from JPP. Next up is the Jeep Wrangler Overlook concept which stretches a four-door Wrangler Sahara into a three-row off-roader. Talk about a limousine of a Jeep – this concept is loaded with luxury touches for the ultimate Overland trip. And finally, we have the intimidating Kaiser Jeep M725 concept. This transformation of a vintage 1967 Kaiser Jeep M725 military ambulance into an ultimate off-road support machine and rolling mascot for JPP is something special to behold.
What are you looking forward to seeing this year at the 2022 Easter Jeep Safari?
