When new trucks are teased, we often get a lot of spy photos and videos from people who make it their job to get sneak peeks and make guesses. But we don’t see manufacturers making mistakes and leaking images. At least not very often. So, these images found in a parts catalog by the folks at GM-Trucks.com are a nice surprise. Sure they’re just line drawings, but they do show us some slight changes for the 2022 Chevy Silverado grille.
The image you’ll see in the video below has been compared to photos of previous model years. And from these comparisons, we can see that the lights may be a little different and there’s a possible change to the hood scoop. But the biggest change seems to be the placement of the spelled-out Chevrolet badge across the front of the 2022 Chevy Silverado grille. In the image of the 2022 model, the word seems to have moved up a couple of inches, so it sits closer to the hood and more in line with the lights.
GM-Trucks.com also shared a few more spy shots of the interior of what appears to be a work truck. These photos show a column shifter whereas the video we saw earlier this year had a console shifter, so they may be using different options for different trims.
We’re expecting official announcements, photos and videos next week. It’ll probably be after Labor Day, but that’s not too far off and we can’t wait to learn all about what’s new and share it with you so stay tuned for more videos!
