A pink Jeep Wrangler is available for a limited time

Share

Who remembers the iconic TV show Happy Days? On the classic TV show the oh-so-cool Fonzie dated a lot of “chicks,” but perhaps the most famous was Pinky Tuscadero who wore pink from head to toe.

In honor of that character, Jeep has announced a new exterior paint color named Tuscadero. And, of course, it’s pink, although Stellantis calls it “a deep and intense chromatic magenta.” Either way, Fonzie and his girlfriend Pinky would surely give it a thumbs up to a pink Jeep Wrangler.

The pink color is available on a very limited production run from now until November 2021. And according to Stellantis it’s available on the entire Wrangler lineup, which include Sport, Sahara, Rubicon, 4xe and 392.

ā€œWith the Jeep brand celebrating its 80th anniversary, it’s the perfect time to launch a confident and custom color on the most iconic Jeep vehicle – both of which are designed to break the mold and stand out on the road and trails,ā€ said Jim Morrison, vice president of the Jeep Brand North America. ā€œWhat’s unique about colors like Tuscadero is that they draw a huge enthusiast following because they’re exciting, authentic and stand out, much like the Jeep community.ā€

Other bold Jeep colors

Jeep is outstanding at providing bold, distinctive color palettes to their products. It’s one of the things that makes them so popular. For the 2021 model year, Jeep has expanded it palette even further adding a new yellow, named Hellayella and a new shade of purple named Snazzberry Pearl. This, along with the Tuscadero pink, gives Jeep a wide range of colors to choose from the cover the color spectrum. The available Jeep exterior colors include:

  • Bright White
  • Black
  • Granite Crystal Metallic
  • Sting-Gray
  • Billet Silver Metallic
  • Hydro Blue Pearl
  • Chief
  • Snazzberry Pearl
  • Firecracker Red
  • Nacho
  • Hellayella
  • Sarge Green

The Tuscadero exterior paint option is available for a limited time and is priced at a U.S. manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $395.

The bottom line a pink Jeep Wrangler

The Wrangler has mass appeal. It has personality in how it drives and the lifestyle it brings with it to those who buy them. So, it only makes sense to offer even more personality with this limited-availability Tuscadero pink Jeep Wrangler. Plus, Jeep also doesn’t want rival Ford Bronco to steal the limelight since Ford just recently announced two new bold colors in Eruption Green and Hot Pepper Red.

You gotta love all of these crazy names and they certainly show the personality of these rugged, off-road vehicles.
