2018 U.S. Pickup Sales Results

Share

The 2018 U.S. pickup sales numbers are out and there was some surprises and a few non-surprises among the results.

Collecting data from all the sales results we can see Ram made the BIG leap narrowing the gap to the Chevy Silverado setting the stage for a very competitive 2019. We also see the Toyota Tacoma remains the midsize truck king even with increased competition.

Ford remains the overall U.S. truck leader, however, competitors certainly made their mark on its overall sales. Reaching 900k annual sales is no small feat and Ford should be rightly applauded for selling that much volume.

The Ridgeline and Titan had a poor year while the Tundra, Colorado and Canyon treaded water in a hot market.

Next year is certainly looking to be even more competitive with a new Ford Ranger and Jeep Gladiator hitting the market. We can’t wait to see how it all shakes out.
