The Dodge Durango is currently the most popular model in the brand’s portfolio and the addition of the ninth exterior color for the 2027 model year – a dark metallic blue named After Dark – is likely to bring more customers to their local dealerships for a closer look.

Introducing After Dark
The 2027 Dodge Durango’s newest exterior paint color, After Dark, was first introduced on the current Dodge Charger. In bright sunlight, the brilliant metallic aspect of this dark blue lights up, revealing stunning depth to the paint, but when in low light, the metallic aspect is muted, leading to a much darker looking color.
2027 Dodge Durango Color Palette
The 2027 Dodge Durango is now available in nine exterior colors. The first seven colors were B5 Blue, Destroyer Grey, Green Machine, Night Moves, Pitch Black, Red Oxide and White Knuckle. The metallic dark red named Redeye was introduced at Roadkill Nights as the eighth color and of course, After Dark is the most recent addition to the Durango lineup’s exterior options. In addition the nine colors listed above, Dodge also plans to bring back the custom paint program with a new price, well below the $30k price tag of the program in the past, but they have not said how much the custom paint will cost when that program is back in action. Depending on how Dodge handles the custom paint program, there could scores of new, one-off exterior color options in the near future.
After Dark has an MSRP of $595, which is the same cost as the other colors for the Durango that aren’t Black or White, which are both offered at no cost.
SRT Hellcat Jailbreak Build Combinations
The 2027 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat is offered with the Jailbreak package, allowing buyers to mix and match every interior and exterior color option possible. 2027 Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak buyers can select from a variety of wheel options, Brembo brake caliper color options, badge color options, exterior colors, stripe pacakge and interior colors, leading to more than 16 million unique build possibilities.
2027 Dodge Durango Models and Engine Information
After Dark is available across the entire 2027 Durango lineup, including the GT Hemi, R/T 392 and SRT Hellcat models. The 2027 Dodge Durango GT Hemi is powered by the 5.7-liter Hemi V8, offering 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. When you step up to the Durango R/T 392, you get the 392-cubic inch/6.4-liter Hemi V8 with 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Finally, the 2027 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat is powered by the supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi, laying out an awesome 710 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque. All models come with standard all-wheel-drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
