The Ram Trucks brand has just announced an array of performance upgrades from Direct Connection for the Ram 1500 Rumble Bee lineup. The most significant item on this list of go-fast goodies for the Rumble Bee is a supercharger package for all three engine options – lifting the output of the SRT model over 900 horsepower.

We give enthusiasts the ability to push their vehicles beyond stock with the parts, engineering and factory-backed support most OEMs won’t touch. The Direct Connection team was involved with Rumble Bee from day one, working alongside some of the best names in the aftermarket to develop upgrades that deliver real performance gains.”
Direct Connection Rumble Bee Superchargers
There is a list of Direct Connection upgrades already available for the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee family, but the big news is the introduction of a supercharger package. Since the base Rumble Bee with the 5.7-liter Hemi and the Rumble Bee 392 are naturally aspirated from the factory, the Direct Connection kit adds a supercharger, while the factory-supercharged Rumble Bee SRT gets a supercharger upgrade.
The Direct Connection supercharger package for the Rumble Bee lineup begins with a Whipple 3.0-liter twin-screw supercharger, an oversized air-to-water intercooler and a high-capacity coolant pump. This kit has an MSRP of $10,995 and when installed by a Mopar technician (that price does not include installation), the supercharger comes with a 5-year, 60,000-mile warranty.
For the Ram 1500 Rumble Bee, the Direct Connection supercharger kit lifts the output to “over 600 horsepower” while the Rumble Bee 392 climbs to “over 700 horsepower”. Finally, swapping from the stock 2.4-liter blower to the Direct Connection 3.0-liter lifts the output of the Rumble Bee SRT with the Hellcat Hemi to “over 900 horsepower”. With over 900 horsepower, there is a good chance that these Direct Connection-equipped SRT models could be running 10-second quarter mile times with a warranty.
We can expect more specific power numbers when we get closer to these trucks reaching dealerships, but for now – we know that every new Rumble Bee can benefit from a Direct Connection supercharger package.
Direct Connection Performance Exhaust by Magnaflow
Next up, Direct Connection already has an aftermarket exhaust system ready for purchase by 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee buyers. Offered as either a standalone item or as an addition to the aforementioned supercharger kits, these full stainless steel Magnaflow exhaust systems feature three-inch mandrel-bent tubing, an x-pipe and 5-inch black tips with the Direct Connection logo. There is no mention of power gains from this system, but we expect that it is dramatically louder than the factory exhaust systems on the various Rumble Bee packages.
The Direct Connection Performance Exhaust by Magnaflow pricing starts at $1,599 for the base Rumble Bee, followed by $2,299 for the Rumble Bee 392 trucks and $2,399 for the Rumble Bee SRT.
Direct Connection Suspension Kit by Ridetech
If you buy a 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee or Rumble Bee 392 without the Track Pack, both of which come with the fixed coil-spring suspension system rather than the Bilstein adaptive dampers, Direct Connection has a sportier suspension upgrade option. This Direct Connection suspension package features Ridetech HQ-series coilovers with impact-forged aluminum-bodied monotube shocks, 24-way adjustable damping and CNC cold-wound high-tensile steel springs. These upgraded dampers improve handling performance while also lowering the trucks by one-inch in the front and three inches out back.
The Direct Connection Suspension Kit by Ridetech has an “anticipated” MSRP of $4,590 and comes with a three-year, 36,000-mile limited warranty. Note that anticipated MSRP could change when the package goes on sale and that price does not include installation.
Exterior Graphics Complete the Ram 1500 Rumble Bee
Finally (for now), Direct Connection has a trio of exterior appearance packages for the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee lineup. Each of these packages has a unique color theme that begins with striping on the hood and extends along the length of the body. Each package also includes unique hood badging with the engine size and “supercharged”, along with Direct Connection logos on the hood and on the bedsides. For the 5.7-liter models, the stripes are Ceramic Gray, while 392 models get Flame Red stripes and the Rumble Bee SRT gets Rumble Bee Yellow stripes. Oh, and the supercharger lid for each model comes in the same color as the exterior stripe package, tying together the underhood and exterior upgrades.
The trucks here have additional exterior upgrades that are not yet available, and while we do not yet have pricing for the Direct Connection Rumble Bee graphics packages, they look like the kind of option that will be popular with Rumble Bee owners.
