The team at the Ram Trucks brand announced the pricing for the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee lineup and the numbers are a bit lower than the skeptics expected. While many people insisted that the SRT Hellcat-powered model would start over $100,000, but it does not, and getting into the “base” 5.7-liter Hemi will cost just over $60,000. As I expected, the Rumble Bee lineup is a bit less expensive than the Ram 1500 High Performance Off-Road lineup while also offering better on-road performance.
Ram 1500 Rumble Bee Starts at $62,790
First up, we have the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee, which is powered by the 5.7-liter Hemi V8. This model offers 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque, with that power being sent towards the wheels by means of an 8HP75 8-speed automatic transmission, a Borg Warner 48-11 transfer case and a 250-millimeter rear axle fitted with 3.92 gears. A set of 22×10-inch wheels wrapped in 285/45R22 all-season rubber puts the power to the ground, allowing this package to sprint from a stop to 60 in just 6.1 seconds while being capable of a quarter mile time in the mid-14-second range.
This entry level Rumble Bee starts at $59,995, but with the unavoidable destination fee, the price out the door starts at $62,790.
Ram 1500 Rumble Bee 392 Starts at $72,790
Next, we have the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee 392, which is powered by the 6.4-liter SRT Hemi – not the 6.4-liter Hemi from the Ram HD lineup. In the new Rumble Bee package, this engine offers 470 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque, with the same transmission, four-wheel-drive system, gear ratios, wheels and tires as the base Rumble Bee. The Rumble Bee 392 hustles from 0-60 in 5.2 seconds while running the quarter mile in 13.2 seconds at 101 miles per hour.
The Rumble Bee 392 pricing starts at $69,995, but climbs to $72,790 with destination fees.
Adding the Track Pack Adds $10k to the Rumble Bee 392
The Ram 1500 Rumble Bee 392 Track Pack comes with the same engine and transmission as the lower-priced 392 model, but it adds an array of components that should vastly enhance the overall performance abilities of this half-ton sport truck. The Track Pack adds an electronic spool locking differential, active-level four-corner air suspension system with active damping, 16-inch Brembo front brake rotors with 6-piston calipers and 22×12-inch wheels wrapped in tires that measure 325mm wide – the widest tires offered on any Mopar product aside from the Dodge Viper. Even though the Track Pack has bigger tires and the locking differential, it has the same official 0-60 and quarter mile times as the non-Track Pack.
The Rumble Bee 392 Track Pack starts at $82,790 with destination, so the extra go-fast goodies effectively add $10,000 over the non-Track Pack 392 trucks.
The Hellcat Ram Street Truck Starts Under $100,000
Finally, the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee SRT is powered by the supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat Hemi, which delivers 777 horsepower and 680 lb-ft of torque. The Hellcat Ram uses the same four-wheel-drive system as the other Rumble Bee models, but the supercharged truck comes with stronger 8HP95 8-speed transmission and 3.55 gears. The Rumble Bee SRT also features the high performance components from the 392 Track Pack, including the electronic spool performance locking differential, the active-level four-corner air suspension system with active damping, 16-inch Brembo front brake rotors with 6-piston calipers and the 22-inch-tall wheels wrapped in 325mm-wide rubber. The Ram 1500 Rumble Bee SRT has an official 0-60 time of 3.4 seconds and an official quarter mile time of 11.6. Most importantly, the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee SRT has a top speed of 170 miles per hour, so it is dramatically faster than the high performance off-road trucks like the Ram 1500 TRX and the Ford F-150 Raptor R.
The 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee SRT has a starting price of $94,995, which ends up at $97,790 with destination. That is a 777-horsepower, four-wheel-drive pickup that will seat five adults and run in the mid-11s for under $100,000.
Rumble Bee Pricing Versus Ram Off-Road Models
The graphic introducing the pricing for the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee lineup also has pricing for the brand’s high performance off-road models. The 540-horsepower Ram 1500 RHO starts at $77,790 while the 777-horsepower the Ram 1500 TRX starts at $102,790. The RHO and TRX have some off-road components that are costly and heavy, so they have been excluded in the Rumble Bee builds, allowing the company to introduce the high performance street trucks at lower price point. Plenty of RHO and TRX owners have purchased one of these off-road trucks and built them to be great drag race vehicles.
With the introduction of the Rumble Bee lineup, Ram fans who want to go drag racing can save a little money and start with a lighter platform, which will likely lead to a boom in very fast pickups at your local drag strip.
