The Shelby name is best known for its connection to the Ford Mustang, but Shelby American also builds some badass Ford trucks. The Las Vegas-based performance company recently introduced their newest high performance packages and the Shelby Baja F-150 Raptor lineup comes in two very powerful flavors. Available for both the V6-powered Raptor and the V8-powered Raptor R, the Shelby Baja package adds big power and unmistakable design to the already-loaded F-150, but these limited-production pickups come with a premium price.
Shelby Baja F-150 Raptor Gets 555 HP

Since the current generation of the Ford Raptor came to market, it has been offered with the EcoBoost 3.5-liter V6. In standard form, that mill delivers 450 horsepower, which makes it one of the quicker trucks in the half-ton segment.
The Shelby Baja F-150 Raptor with the EcoBoost V6 comes with an upgraded air intake system, a performance intercooler, a Shelby-tuned Borla exhaust system and a tune that lifts the output to 555 horsepower.
Shelby Baja F-150 Raptor R Packs Four-Figure Power

A few years back, the Ford Raptor R joined the lineup with a supercharged V8 that delivers 720 horsepower. That stock output made it the most powerful truck in the half-ton segment, beating Ram’s TRX by 18 horsepower. The new TRX has 777 horsepower, but Shelby American scoffs at that.
The 2026 Shelby Baja Raptor R package adds a Bengal Red-powdercoated 3.8-liter Whipple supercharger, a billet throttle body, an upgraded air intake system, a dual-core intercooler, and a Shelby-tuned Borla exhaust system to the 5.2-liter V8. When coupled with the Shelby American tune, the modified Raptor R delivers 1,000 horsepower.
Shelby Baja Exterior is Ultra Aggressive

Both versions of the 2026 Shelby Baja F-150 Raptor come with a similar exterior upgrade package. In terms of mechanical upgrades that enhance performance, the package adds unique 18-inch wheels wrapped in 37-inch BFG KM3 Mud Terrain tires (with two full-size spares), “premium lift springs,” and a functional, vented hood.
Building on the muscular look of the stock Raptor package, the Shelby Baja kit adds power running boards, painted smooth fender flares, front and rear bumpers from Addictive Desert Designs, a ton off LED component lights from Vision X, a custom painted grille, the Shelby Baja bed chase rack, Shelby Baja side panels, Shelby full body rally stripes, and Shelby Baja Raptor graphics.
The Interior is the Only Understated Aspect

The Shelby American Baja F-150 Raptor is a pretty extreme machine, but the interior upgrades are relatively simple and tasteful. The cabin upgrades include exclusive Shelby-designed top grain leather seat covers, a carbon fiber interior trim kit, billet racing pedals, tinted windows, Shelby Baja Raptor embroidered carpet floor mats, and a Shelby Baja Raptor console badge. There is also a Shelby Registry CSM serial number plaque in the engine bay. Unfortunately, there are no interior images available yet.
Big Truck, Big Power, Big Price

The 2026 Shelby Baja Raptor and Raptor R are amazing machines, but they will be built in very limited numbers, with a price that separates the men from the boys. The 555-horsepower 2026 Shelby Baja Raptor starts at $146,795 while the 1000-horsepower Shelby Baja Raptor R starts at $194,795. Those prices do include the cost of the Ford Raptor or Raptor R on which the Shelby Baja will be built. The Raptor starts around $83,000 while the Raptor R starts around $115,000, so while the price of the trucks required for the Shelby build will increase the cost of the truck a bit, those base MSRP numbers give us an idea of the cost of these packages from Shelby American.
