While many automakers have either pushed back or outright cancelled the unveiling of certain models, the tuning community has still managed to keep the flow of new products going, and we have seen a number of wild custom creations as a result. One of the latest is from European tuner ABT which brings some outrageous exclusivity to the Audi SQ7.

While the SQ7 is also for sale here in the U.S. ABT’s customization suite is centered around the European version, which is centered around the 4.0 liter TDI V8 engine (Americans get a gasoline fed twin-turbocharged V8 that makes 500 horsepower.) But the diesel is far from being a slouch, with the oil burner also employing twin-turbocharging in its internals. The end result is 429 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. While this is enough for most people, the mad tuners at ABT are not like most people, and have decided to up the ante a bit. This is due to numerous upgrades to the engine made by ABT, which helps push power up to 503 horsepower and an insane 715 lb-ft of torque.

The power boost was announced by the firm back in 2019, but this time, ABT has equipped the super SUV with an all new widebody kit to improve its track, as well as handling manners. Brawnier fender extensions are bolted on front and rear, while an all new front lip spoiler further enhances the look. A roof mounted spoiler and quad exhaust tips are further reminders to the public that this isn’t your run of the mill SQ7. Massive 22-inch wheels radically enhances the SQ7’s profile, while splashes of carbon fiber trim in the luxurious cabin rounds out the package.

When viewed alongside other European tuners like Masonry, the folks at ABT have done a commendable job in transforming the SQ7 into a potent tuned beast that does not look too garish. But while ABT is better known for its European focused creations, the tuner does run a U.S. website which can be accessed here for those looking to learn more about the company as well as those looking for inspiration for their own custom creations.
