Project 1962 Chevy C10 Swede Update – Maiden Drive

Share

After battling the drum brakes and clutch, it was time to see if all the hard work paid off. Nervously, I loaded up the family and took a spin around the neighborhood. Much to my surprise, everything worked perfectly!

While the truck billowed with white smoke and didn’t make it out of 2nd gear, it drove actually pretty well all things considered. I mean, really, considering it does not have a front passenger shock, the other shocks are in poor shape, the tires are horrendous and its been a decade or better since anyone drove it forward.

Up next, I load it up to take to the tire shop.
