It’s no secret that Lincoln has been riding a very potent hot streak as of late. Once considered to be on life support a decade ago, Ford’s luxury laden brand is now riding a strong wave of sales thanks in part to perhaps the strongest model lineup that we have ever seen. Lincoln is keen on continuing this trend, and revealed Friday that it is bringing the Navigator’s popular Monochromatic Package to its smaller brand mates the Aviator, Nautilus and Corsair in an attempt to bring more unity to the lineup.
Like the Navigator, buyers that choose this sleek package will be rewarded with an exterior canvas that replaces a lot of the chrome bright work with body color matching pieces. This transformation also means that buyers do get to choose from a limited color pallet (depending on model) with the package only being compatible with pristine white, ceramic pearl, asher gray and infinite black. The package also brings the color to the name badge and grille for the sake of continuity. Buyers can also choose from either package exclusive 20-inch wheels, or bigger 22-inch hoops for more presence.
“The monochromatic palette is clean, uncluttered and emphasizes the beautiful lines of our Lincoln SUVs,” says Earl Lucas, Lincoln chief exterior designer. “From the Corsair, Nautilus, Aviator to Navigator, this option not only enables us to keep our lineup fresh, but also gives our clients a unique option to personalize their Lincoln SUV.”
Lincoln chose to not reveal pricing or when the expanded lineup will make their way to Lincoln showrooms. However, the package is a $3,495 extra on the 2020 Navigator, so look for it to either stay at that price, or perhaps be slightly cheaper on the smaller SUVs.
