KEYSTONE RV COMPANY CELEBRATES PRODUCTION OF ONE MILLIONTH RV

August 29, 2019, GOSHEN, IN — Today, Keystone RV Company shipped its one millionth production unit, marking a significant and rare milestone in the RV industry. The company celebrated with employees and partners with a ribbon cutting ceremony during which a 2020 Keystone Montana 3761FL was driven by 2020 GMC Sierra Heavy Duty 2500 Denali off the corporate complex to be delivered to Walnut Ridge Family RV Center in New Castle, Indiana.

“We can’t understate how honored we are to have had the support of hundreds of dealers, thousands of employees, and soon to be one million Keystone RV owners over the past twenty-three years,” said Jeff Runels, company CEO and President.

In May 1996, industry veteran Cole Davis became the president and major shareholder of Aristocrat Industries, Inc. which he rechristened, Keystone RV Company. The company’s original 60,000 sq. ft. plant in the Maple City Industrial Park remains a part of Keystone’s sprawling 320 acre campus, now home to more than twenty-five manufacturing plants and the company’s corporate office.

Sprinter, Keystone’s original brand remains in production today and has been joined by seventeen other nameplates, making Keystone the largest manufacturer of towable RV’s in North America. Currently, Keystone RV sells more fifth wheels and toy haulers annually than any other manufacturer.

Runels added, “The company was founded on the philosophy that customers are at the center of our decision making, and the people closest to our customers – dealers, our sales team, customer service, are all empowered to make decisions that deliver the best possible ownership experience.”

One of the company’s earliest employees, Mark Bullock, now senior vice president of engineering, noted, “Since the beginning, we’ve been focused on delivering innovation and quality that moves the industry forward, making camping easier, safer, more convenient and more enjoyable. Keystone has been the company that pushed beyond customers’ expectations – I think that has been a significant contributor to our success.”

In recognition of the over 5,000 north central Indiana residents employed by Keystone, Julia King, Goshen city council member at-large and Nick Kieffer, CEO of the Goshen Chamber of Council also attended the event.
