The Speciality Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show is coming up next month in Las Vegas and Ford has started the tease with sketches of four SEMA Ford F-150 trucks it plans to show off. If these trucks are any indication, this show is going to be a modified truck lover’s dream yet again.
Starting with the Bojix Design F-150, Ford is showing off some popular modifications with three different lengths of light bars (30″, 40″ and 50″) and a Ready Light 7-inch lift kit on a base 2016 Ford F-150 XLT 4×4 SuperCrew. Adding some style, the truck features Nardo Grey paint with orange accents. The performance of the 3.5L V6 EcoBoost has also been improved with the addition of twin Borg Warner EFR turbo upgrades and a Full Race intake system. Finally, the interior has been improved with Katzkin Tuscany leather upholstery, dual headrest DVD monitors and a wireless charging system.
Not quite as flashy as the above truck, the ERAThr3 Ford F-150 by Hulst Customs has plenty of wow factor under the lowered truck exterior. The SuperCrew 4×4 has the 5.0L V8 with a Whipple supercharger adding significant power to the tune of 750 HP. Other performance features include a custom rear four-link suspension, custom dual exhaust tips and a CGS performance cat-back exhaust. Finally, Lexani wheels and tires, a special bumper cover, rear bumper, lower side rockets, carbon splitter and hood extractor vents finish off the look.
Bathed in gold and black, the 2016 Gold Standard Ford F-150 Project Truck by A.R.E. Accessories is sure to grab lots of attention. Complete with a host of storage options from A.R.E., it also has an Air Lift Load Lifter, custom 24×12″ wheels, a custom TV, unique grille and special fender flares.
Based on a BMX theme, the last truck features all sorts of cool accessories and styling for action sports fans. For example, there equipped on the truck are bike frames, BMX bicyle parts and a GoPro action camera. Also, it has Grid Off-Road 20×10″ wheels, Raptor Retrofit headlights and a Retrax power roll tonneau. Performance upgrades include a Whipple supercharger and CGS Performance 3-inch stainless cat-back exhaust to take the 5.0L V8 horsepower well beyond stock. It also sits on a FabTech 6-inch performance suspension system. Finally, the inside features a Kicker subwoofer and dual headrest DVD monitors.
The 2016 SEMA show runs from November 1-4, 2016 at the Las Vegas Convention Center is not open to the public (although there is a huge public outdoor area filled with trucks).
