2019 Ram 1500 Pricing Announced – $31,695, No Regular Cab Pricing

2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn – Crew Cab

The 2019 Ram 1500 pricing has been announced and the new truck will start at $31,695 for a Tradesman quad-cab 4×2. Additionally, there is no pricing for a regular cab nor confirmation of one coming.

First, the pricing represents an $800 increase over the 2018 model and is really only $400 more after factoring in inflation. With a new design, technology and more safety technology, the pricing is quite good for the new truck.

Second, the lack of a regular cab for the 2019 has drawn some attention from truck fans. Currently, Ram is still building regular cab pickups for the 2018 models and will continue until that production ends.

We spoke with Ram who confirmed the 2018 regular cab, but didn’t confirm a 2019 regular cab model was on the way.

With truck sales being dominated by crew cabs, luxury pickups and ongoing uncertainty over new EPA fuel economy guidelines (see: CAFE could kill regular cab pickups story host Tim Esterdahl wrote years ago) and the lack of a regular cab confirmation isn’t all that surprising.

The announcement comes as the 2019 Ram 1500 is being shipped to dealers.

“In launching the all-new 2019 Ram 1500, we knew it was important to offer class-leading features and technology. But it’s also important to offer our great product at a competitive price,” said Mike Manley, Head of Ram Truck Brand — FCA. “We feel that we’ve delivered the right no-compromise mix that  Ram Truck customers will appreciate.”

The all-new 2019 Ram 1500 is available in a wide range of offerings, from the well-equipped Tradesman Quad Cab 4×2’s $31,695 MSRP to the technology-leading Limited Crew Cab 4×4 with standard 12-inch Uconnect touchscreen at $56,495 plus destination.

In addition, popular content and trims are now even more affordable on the all-new 2019 Ram 1500 including; Ram Box Cargo Management – reduced to $995; Ram 1500 Rebel 4×4 Quad Cab starting at $44,695 plus dest.; and Bighorn 4×2 Quad Cab – now only $35,695 plus dest.

The all-new Ram 1500 also will deliver significant gains in fuel efficiency with the all-new eTorque system on second-generation 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 and legendary 5.7-liter HEMI® V-8 engines – the widest use of mild hybrid technology in the industry.

The 2019 Ram 1500 is built at FCA’s Sterling Heights (Michigan) Assembly Plant.
