Over the past twelve months, the Jeep brand has introduced twelve new special-edition packages for the Wrangler and/or Gladiator under its Twelve4Twelve program. While the company has shown a few of these vehicles at events around the country, the twelve special-edition Jeeps had never been displayed together—until October 12, 2026. To introduce the twelfth and final vehicle in the program, Jeep held a media event at the Chrysler headquarters building in Auburn Hills, Michigan, where it revealed the Wrangler Switchback alongside the first eleven Twelve4Twelve models.

The first gathering of all twelve Twelve4Twelve Jeep Wranglers was held in the company’s design dome. In addition to the twelve special-edition models, Jeep also had original Willys models from the early 1940s on display. The press conference began with an overview from Vince Galante, Global Head of Jeep Design, who shared some interesting details about the Twelve4Twelve program. As you might imagine, coming up with a new special-edition package every month for a year takes a great deal of coordination across many departments. Rather than putting the entire load on the Jeep design team, the company tapped designers from Dodge, Chrysler and Ram as well. The four brands’ design teams came up with “hundreds” of ideas, and Galante and his team selected their twelve favorites.

Before the team could approve production of these special-edition models, the brand leaders had to meet with the head of the production team at the Jeep assembly plant in Toledo. They needed to make sure the vehicles could be built in a short amount of time and, in some cases, that required unique production planning. For example, the new Switchback, offered in gray or black with contrasting black or gray panels, is always built in pairs—one gray and one black. At the end of the assembly line, the vehicles are pulled aside so workers can swap the doors, hood and roof. That way, the gray model gets black components and the black model gets gray components.

Once each model was approved at every level, including production, the team had about two months to take each vehicle from concept to production. The program was a success, with twelve cool new special-edition models rolling out between November 2025 and October 2026. Most of the debuts were virtual, so the Design Dome event was the first time some of the designers had seen the results of their work in person—and the first time all twelve models had been displayed together.

After Galante explained the basics of the program, Ryan Nagode (Head of Interiors, Stellantis North America) and La Shirl Turner (Head of Color and Trim, Stellantis North America) walked us through all twelve vehicles and what makes each one special. Here’s a look at each of the Twelve4Twelve Jeep Wrangler special-edition models.

## Drop 1: Moab 392

First up is the Jeep Wrangler Moab 392, which debuted in November 2025. Based on the Willys 392 and available only as a four-door model, the [Moab](<https://www.discovermoab.com/>) 392 is powered by a 470-horsepower, 392-cubic-inch Hemi V8. The team added a long list of exterior components that make it a capable off-roader, including 17-inch beadlock wheels wrapped in 35-inch BFGoodrich KO2 tires, a front disconnecting sway bar and dual locking differentials. The exterior also features plenty of details that give it a unique look, including steel bumpers, a body-colored hardtop, molded-in-color wheel flares and a performance hood with package-specific badging. The package is currently available in all thirteen colors offered for the Wrangler.

Most importantly, the Moab 392 brought the big V8 back to the Wrangler lineup at a price point about $20,000 lower than that of the previous model in 2025.

## Drop 2: Whitecap

The second Twelve4Twelve drop arrived in December 2025 with the Jeep Wrangler Whitecap. This exterior-focused package is available on four-door Sahara or Rubicon models, retaining the standard interior and mechanical features of those trim levels while adding a heritage-themed two-tone look. The two tones are the exterior color of your choice and—as the name suggests—a whole lot of white trim. That includes a white hardtop, white grille, white hood decal, white 1941 side stripes and a white 4-Wheel Drive decal. The package is currently available in all thirteen colors offered for the Wrangler.

## Drop 3: 85th Anniversary

![](<https://pickuptrucktalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/20261012_1303270.webp>)

The third Twelve4Twelve Jeep Wrangler is the 85th Anniversary Edition, built on the four-door Sport S. On the outside, the package adds 17-inch Steel Oxide wheels in a unique dark-blue finish, body-colored fender flares, bronze-trimmed hood decals, bronze tow hooks and unique 85th Anniversary decals on the fenders.

The Jeep Wrangler 85th Anniversary Edition really pops inside the cabin, where it showcases plaid upholstery in a Wrangler for the first time since 1995. La Shirl Turner pointed out that the plaid might be a bit much for some people, but the designers wanted the interior to stand out—and it absolutely does. I kind of love the plaid, which appears on the Soul Cloth seat centers and along the middle section of the dashboard. The package also adds Mayan Gold stitching throughout the cabin, 85th Anniversary graphics on the vents, themed logos on the shifter and a package-specific swing-gate plaque.

The Jeep Wrangler 85th Anniversary Edition is available in only three exterior colors—white, black and Granite Crystal—so buyers can’t pick a hue that clashes with the lovely plaid cabin.

## Drop 4: Willys 392

Jeep Wrangler Willys 392 (Photo by Patrick Rall)

The fourth Twelve4Twelve model is the Jeep Wrangler Willys 392, which focuses on adding the 392-cubic-inch Hemi V8. The Willys trim level was introduced as a relatively budget-friendly off-road model, and with a 470-horsepower V8 and a standard eight-speed automatic transmission, this is the most affordable Hemi-powered Wrangler ever, with a starting price of $69,995. Outside, the Wrangler Willys 392 package comes with steel front and rear bumpers, a rear locking differential, 17-inch beadlock wheels wrapped in 35-inch BFGoodrich KO2 tires, molded-in-color fender flares and a performance hood. The package is currently available in all thirteen colors offered for the Wrangler.

While the Willys is relatively low-frills, the Wrangler Willys 392 package adds Nappa leather seats, Soul Cloth dashboard trim, a molded-in-color instrument-panel surround, Tungsten stitching throughout the cabin and a package-specific swing-gate plaque. The package is available only as a four-door model.

## Drop 5): Rockslide

![](<https://pickuptrucktalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/20261012_130431.webp>)

Jeep Wrangler Rockslide (Photo by Patrick Rall)

The fifth Twelve4Twelve drop was the Jeep Wrangler Rockslide, which adds key features inside and out to four-door Sahara and Rubicon models. Outside, the Rockslide package features a unique two-tone look, starting with your choice of any of the thirteen exterior colors, which also extend to the wheel flares. The package then adds contrasting Anvil gray to the hardtop and grille surround, along with gray-blue graphics on the hood and bodyside. The Wrangler Rockslide also gains rock rails for added off-road protection.

Inside, the Jeep Wrangler Rockslide features a slick new blue-jean-style cloth on the seats and dashboard, with Nappa leather trim on the dash and door panels. Prowler Silver stitching runs throughout the cabin, and there’s a package-specific swing-gate plaque at the back.

## Drop 6: Rewind

![](<https://pickuptrucktalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/20261012_1305470.webp>)

Jeep Wrangler Rewind (Photo by Patrick Rall)

The sixth Twelve4Twelve drop is the coolest of the collection—but as an ’80s kid, I’m a bit biased. The Jeep Wrangler Rewind is built on the latest four-door Willys model, but its graphics package provides a flashy trip back to the awesome ’80s. Other exterior details include gold-pocketed wheels and gold tow hooks, but the graphics are what make the Rewind so cool. Instead of the usual logo on the sides of the hood, the Rewind has colorful stripes that spread from the logos and across the hood. Those stripes continue down the lower bodysides before shooting back up behind the rear wheels. The Rewind logo and stripes also appear on the spare-tire cover, while the stripe colors show up in a unique 4-Wheel Drive logo on the rear corner. The package is shown here in Reign, but it’s also available in Bright White, Hydro Blue, Anvil, Black, Earl, Granite Crystal and Joose. The purple paint paired with the Rewind stripes, though, creates the most awesomely ’80s look.

The Jeep Wrangler Rewind’s interior gets some upgrades, too, including unique Plum and Ice Blue stitching throughout the cabin, a slick dot-matrix embossing design on the leather seat centers, and Nappa leather trim on the door panels and dash. ’80s fashion was all about bright colors and leather, so the Rewind package hits the nail right on the head.

## Drop 7: America250

![](<https://pickuptrucktalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/20261012_130603.webp>)

Jeep Wrangler America250 (Photo by Patrick Rall)

All of Stellantis’ American brands introduced special-edition packages to celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States, and Jeep used its seventh Twelve4Twelve drop to showcase the America250 model. Built on four-door Wrangler Willys models, this package wears the colors of the American flag, with a cool blue-jean-style soft top, Steel Oxide (blue) wheels, red-and-blue graphics across the hood and lower bodysides, red tow hooks and a Captain America-themed spare-tire cover. Jeep also collaborated with Marvel on this model, hence the familiar shield design out back.

Inside, the Jeep Wrangler America250 has blue-jean-style cloth seats and more denim-inspired trim through the middle of the dashboard. Red seat belts and red, white and blue stitching add a splash of patriotic color throughout the cabin. The package also adds America250 logos to the front seats and a unique swing-gate plaque, a feature found on all of these vehicles.

## Drop 8: Sarge

![](<https://pickuptrucktalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/20261012_130720.webp>)

Jeep Wrangler Sarge (Photo by Patrick Rall)

The Jeep Wrangler’s roots are military, so it comes as no surprise that one of the Twelve4Twelve drops is a clear military tribute. The eighth drop, named Sarge, is available on four-door Willys or Rubicon models. While the package is available in black, white or Granite Crystal, the military-themed ’41 green shown here seems like the perfect choice, especially with the matching 17-inch wheels. Paired with the white Sarge graphics on the hood, sides and rear, along with the white grille and hardtop, the Jeep looks like something the U.S. Army might use as an administrative vehicle. Buyers who want a less flashy look can also get the Wrangler Sarge with a ’41 green top and grille surround, which makes it look even more ready for military duty.

Inside, the Wrangler Sarge has green denim-style cloth seats and matching cloth in the middle of the dashboard. Brown leather trim across the dash cap, center-console lid and door armrests makes the cabin surprisingly upscale for a military-inspired vehicle—reinforcing the idea that it would make a great administrative ride.

## Drop 9: Laredo

![](<https://pickuptrucktalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/20261012_130840.webp>)

Jeep Wrangler Laredo (Photo by Patrick Rall)

Back in the day, Laredo was a popular Jeep Wrangler trim level. The ninth Twelve4Twelve drop brings back that name, which had been absent from the lineup since 1987. Built on the Willys model and available in two- or four-door form, the new Laredo special-edition package adds plenty of bronze trim to the exterior, from the 17-inch beadlock wheels and tow hooks to the graphics that extend across the hood, around the wheel openings and along the lower bodysides. A tan soft top pairs nicely with the bronze graphics, and the unique western lasso-style 4-Wheel Drive logo at the rear is one of those little details that make these packages so interesting. The package is available in the full Wrangler exterior color palette.

Inside, the Jeep Wrangler Laredo has Nappa leather all over the place. Most of the dashboard is wrapped in leather, as are the seats and door panels. The interior color palette works with the cowboy-hat graphics on the HVAC vents to create a distinctly Western feel, tying together the interior and exterior of this return to the Laredo name.

## Drop 10: Smoky Mountain

![](<https://pickuptrucktalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/20261012_130946.webp>)

Jeep Wrangler Smoky Mountain (Photo by Patrick Rall)

The Jeep Wrangler Smoky Mountain is a four-door Willys package introduced at the Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion to celebrate the legendary event. Outside, it starts with 17-inch Willys wheels in a unique Smoky Grey finish, along with a body-colored hardtop, body-colored fender flares and unique hood graphics. Inside, the package features a unique cloth seat design with a parachute graphic embossed into the upper front seatbacks, along with Terracotta and Tungsten stitching and a Mother and Cub shifter medallion. When introduced, the package was available in the full range of Wrangler exterior colors.

## Drop 11: JL-2A

![](<https://pickuptrucktalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/20261012_131028.webp>)

Jeep Wrangler JL-2A (Photo by Patrick Rall)

The Willys CJ-2A was the first Jeep built for civilian use (CJ stands for Civilian Jeep), and with the eleventh Twelve4Twelve drop, the Trail Rated brand pays tribute to that original road-going machine. Based on the Rubicon and available in two- or four-door form, the JL-2A is an appearance package—but quite an appearance package. Available in six colors—Gobi, ’41, White, Sting Gray, Ghost and Joose—it adds Joose 17-inch wheels, orange tow hooks, a sport hood, and a body-colored top and fender flares. Unlike the other special-edition models, it has no graphics, leaving the basic make and model logos as the only markings on this Wrangler.

Inside, the Jeep Wrangler JL-2A has an upscale look and feel, with contrasting light- and dark-colored leather on the seats and dashboard. Heritage Tan and Bison Brown Nappa leather are paired with Desert Orange stitching throughout the cabin. There’s also a Willys-Overland shifter medallion and a unique swing-gate plaque, along with HVAC vents featuring the seven-slot grille and vintage Willys Jeep silhouette.

## Drop 12: Switchback

![](<https://pickuptrucktalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/20261012_1311240.webp>)

Jeep Wrangler Switchback (Photo by Patrick Rall)

Finally, the last of the Twelve4Twelve drops is the Jeep Wrangler Switchback, which debuted at the media event where we got to see all twelve special-edition models together. As mentioned above, the Switchback is built in pairs—one Sting Gray and one black—and the hood, doors and hardtop are swapped to create a unique mismatched-color package. Built on the Rubicon X and available in two- or four-door form, this package adds Gecko accents to the grille, headlight trim rings and 17-inch beadlock wheels, as well as to the hood graphics, providing a sharp contrast to the otherwise dark body. There’s also a more subtle ’41 graphic on the doors, once again paying tribute to the first civilian Jeep.

Inside, the Jeep Wrangler Switchback is the first to offer a Sea Salt and Black interior, with Switchback-embossed seatbacks, Pearl and Lime Green stitching, a unique shifter logo and, of course, the package-specific swing-gate plaque.

"description": "Patrick Rall has turned a passion for performance vehicles into a career of test driving and reviewing some of the hottest vehicles on- and off-road. While his own racing experience has predominantly been on the quarter mile drag strip, where he has made thousands of passes, his experience of operating a horse farm gives him a unique, hands-on perspective of new trucks and SUVs. He combined his experiences of racing on paved roads and driving on muddy country roads, allowing him to push today’s top off-road trucks, SUVs and UTVs to their limits in the most grueling conditions.",
