Stellantis, the parent company of Ram, Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler and Fiat, recently invested $235 million at the plant in 2024 to build different powertrain versions of the truck. Starting later this year and into the next few years, SHAP will build the ICE Ram 1500 alongside, the Ramcharger extended ranger EV and a Ram REV fully electric EV.
