Now another 132,037 trucks have been added to this recall. The affected trucks were built between Aug. 1, 2023, and March 8, 2024. According to the [National Highway Traffic Safety Administration]() recall number 24V060000, under certain conditions, water could seep into the tailgates and come into contact with the electronic gate-release switch. This could cause a short circuit, leading to the tailgate unlatching while the truck is in park, resulting in the loss of cargo and increasing the chance of an accident.
