And the past year has been gut wrenching with the demise of the Hemi V-8 engine from the Stellantis lineup. First the muscle cars, then the [Dodge Durango Hellcat](), then [the Ram 1500]() all said adieu to this stalwart engine. Now, we have another sad farewell: Say goodbye to the Jeep Wrangler 392. Jeep recently announced the [2024 Jeep Wrangler]() 392 Final Edition. Insert sad trombone. ## **What’s the Jeep Wrangler 392?** In case you missed it, the Jeep Wrangler 392 was unveiled in 2020 and brought a lot of joy during some dark times. Equipped with a 6.4-liter Hemi V-8, this compact off-roader delivers 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. Not that anyone was setting track speed records in this vehicle, but for giggles, Jeep timed the 0-to-60-MPH trek at 4.5 seconds. With trail-rated capability, this is a remarkably unusual vehicle in its class. ## **The Final Edition** As a part of the last year of production, the Jeep Wrangle 392 will get a Final Edition with special trimmings and even more capability. For starters, the Final Edition will get a standard 8,000-pound Warn winch and a half-inch lift kit that delivers 11.6 inches of ground clearance and 34.5 inches of water fording. This model will also get an 83-piece tool kit and heavy-duty rock sliders. For 2024, the Xtreme 35 Tire Package is standard and features beadlock-capable wheels and 35-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires. In addition to unique Final Edition hood and front fender vent decals, this model will also get a Mopar triple loop grille guard, black Nappa leather seats, Mayan gold accent stitching and a special shifter medallion and swing gate plaque. The price for the 2024 Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition will be $101,890, including destination. ## **The bottom line** Jeep is limited production of the Jeep Wrangler 392 Final Edition to 3,700 units *globally* – not just in the U.S. So, if you want one, get one fast. Even with the $100k+ price tag, we imagine these vehicles will be future collectibles and will sell out. This is a nice last hurrah for the Wrangler 392 and the Hemi V-8.
