As [The Detroit News reports](), Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis confirmed the update was coming during MotorTrends’ RoadKill Nights Powered by Dodge on August 12. Tough the article doesn’t specifically call the refresh a 2025 model, since the details are already out for 2024 Ram 1500s, we will make the educated guess that it’s a 2025. ## **What to expect for the 2025 Ram 1500 refresh** We’ve seen [spy shots]() indicating a front and rear facelift. In fact, we’re betting it will resemble – but not be an exact replica – the [2025 Ram 1500 REV]() electric truck. Especially since this will be a typical mid-cycle refresh. The interior will also likely get an upgrade but not a complete redo. Assuming [our glimpse at a leaked build sheet]() for the 2025 Ram 1500 was real, we also believe the I-6 twin-turbo Hurricane engine seen in the Jeep Wagoneer will make its way under the hood of this full-size truck. That might also mean the Hemi disappears. Other guesses based on the build sheet: we’ll see a top-level Tungsten trim as well as a passenger screen (*a la*Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Cherokee). It’ll also keep the adjustable pedals. ## **When will we see the 2025 Ram 1500 refresh?** The Detroit News speculates that we could lay eyes on the 2025 Ram 1500 refresh as early as the LA Auto Show in November. Failing any delays in production, we should see production versions of the truck hit dealer lots anywhere from January to March of 2024. ## **The bottom line** We knew it was time for a Ram 1500 refresh – past time actually. So, we’re glad to see it’s finally confirmed and coming relatively soon.
