From the sassy design to high-tech features, [Toyota nailed the revamp]() of this midsize truck with a cultlike following. But, of course, they’re not going to spill all the deets at once. Here’s one more thing to know about the 2024 Toyota Tacoma. ## **Terra-colored TRD things** In our reveal post, we discussed at length all the new interior and exterior details of the 2024 Tacoma, including the exterior paint colors: Supersonic Red, Blue Crush Metallic, Underground, Wind Chill Pearl, Solar Octane, Celestial Silver Metallic, Black, Ice Cap and Bronze Oxide. We noted at the time, there would be a new TRD-exclusive color for 2024, and this is it: Terra. The orange hue in the image looks both subdued and vibrant, but it’s difficult to see the exact color with the artistic lighting. But it looks to be a modern take on terracotta pottery colors, and we can’t wait to see it in person. ## **![2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro]()** ## **2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro details** The 2024 Tacoma goes on sale later this summer, but we probably won’t see the TRD Pro until next year since those models exclusively get the i-Force Max hybrid powertrain, which Toyota has said won’t be available until 2024. The i-Force Max isn’t the same one we see in the new Tundra, instead the 2024 Tacoma version will be powered by a 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder turbocharged hybrid powertrain. It will deliver 326 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. This powertrain will also be standard on the Trailhunter models. Since the 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro is at the top of the trim lineup, this truck will also get up-level features like the removable JBL Bluetooth speaker, power liftgate and super-cool IsoDynamic Performance Seats. You’ll also see off-road-ready features such as Fox internal bypass 2.5-inch manual modal Quick Switch 3 (QS3) shocks, a new multi-link rear suspension, 33-inch Goodyear Territory R/T tires, a TRD performance air intake, an integrated LED light bar, an aluminum TRD front skid plate and a high-clearance ARB rear metal bumper with (get this) recovery hooks. ## **The bottom line** There’s still a lot we don’t know about the 2024 Toyota Tacoma, and we have a few months before we’ll actually get to drive it.
