The teaser image is part of a broader campaign for the 2024 Toyota Tacoma to build up excitement for the all-new model. We have seen new [rear disc brakes](), [ARB bumper]() and some design clues for the [TRD PRO model]() as well as other teaser images. ## **JBL portable speaker rocks** Toyota revealed the teaser via email this time, not Instagram like in the past, with the password of “TacoRocks” and yet there’s more to it than that. First, the [JBL speaker]() looks like a bluetooth connected model with wireless charging on the dash. It is probably also weather proof and portable within a certain distance to the truck. These kinds of speakers have become popular for listening to music while relaxing on a trail or campsite. ![2024 Toyota Tacoma JBL portable speaker]()Second, we have a better look at the tailgate and can see “Tacoma” spelled out, upside down on the tailgate. Why do this? When you drop the tailgate, people can still see it is a Tacoma. That is an interesting design feature and I’ll be interested to see how people modify it to stand out even more like with inlaid lettering popular in the truck crowd. ## **What to expect from the 2024 Toyota Tacoma** While the teasers are curious, here’s what (we think) we know about the 2024 Toyota Tacoma. It’ll have: - One, if not two, [hybrid powertrains](). - [A coil-link suspension]() like the Tundra. - A [vastly upgraded]() and tech-forward interior. - Strong Tundra styling cues, including [the grille mustache](). All of this is based on educated guesses and spy photos. ## **The bottom line** More teasers are coming as Toyota builds up the excitement for the new truck. While the when it will be revealed is still a secret, the more clues we get, the more there is to talk about. Maybe we will be back with more next TacoTuesday or … maybe we can finally see the full truck.
