This new limited-edition model will be available in the fourth quarter of 2022 and will feature unique paint colors and design elements. ### **Ram 1500 “Built to Serve” EMS features** While the firefighter edition featured Redline and Diamond Black exterior paint, the Ram 1500 “Built to Serve” EMS edition features Hydro Blue and Bright White paint. The unique interior offers blue accent stitching – as opposed to the orange we saw on the previous model. Other unique features include “Built to Serve” badging, an all-black grille, 20-inch aluminum wheels with a Technical Gray finish, black exhaust tips, premium cloth or vinyl sport seats, Block Onyx Chrome interior trim, all-weather slush mats and lockable console storage. Something else unique about the “Built to Serve” models is the inclusion of Velcro panels in specific areas on the front seat so customers can apply their own patches to personalize their trucks. If a customer opts to add the 4X4 Off-Road Group, additional features for these models include all-terrain tires, electronic-locking rear axle, hill-descent control, front suspension skid plate, steering gear skid plate, fuel tank skid plate, transfer case skid plate, tow hooks and heavy-duty off-road-calibrated shock absorbers. ### **Trim availability & pricing** The Ram 1500 “Built to Serve” EMS package will be available on Big Horn and Lone Star crew-cab models. These means customers will have the option of the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 or the 5.7-liter eTorque and non-eTorque V-8 powertrains. Base price for these models will be $56,810. ### **The bottom line** Though we don’t expect a completely new Ram 1500 [until 2024](), we expect to see a slew of 2023 special editions – including at least one more “Built to Serve” edition honoring the police.
