Mark your calendars for Sept. 27 and[book mark our YouTube channel]() because you better believe we’ll be there to see it IRL. We already have [a fairly detailed account]() of what to expect in this next-gen truck, so we won’t re-hash the details here. But the highlights include a new grille and headlights, a lot of high-tech interior features, [Pro Power Onboard]() and *maybe*a hybrid powertrain. ### **Teasers and spy shots** We’ve seen some [fairly good spy shots]() of the 2023 Super Duty courtesy of the [@alumiduty]() Instagram account, and now we have a teaser posted to twitter from Ford CEO Jim Farley. > All-new Super Duty. Coming Sept.27 [@FordTrucks]() [pic.twitter.com/zXiwko0a1O]() > > > > — Jim Farley (@jimfarley98) [September 16, 2022]() Though we don’t see much in this 11-second video, it does confirm the headlights are the same ones we saw in the spy photos. ### **About that hybrid powertrain** We’re a bit iffier than we were on the hybrid powertrain because the new Mustang was supposed to get one, but [it got scrapped]() in favor of Mustang Mach-E development. However, since we know an all-electric Super Duty is on the far-out horizon, this specific reason for scrapping a hybrid powertrain isn’t a concern. Since the PowerBoost on the regular F-150 has been so successful, we still think a hybrid Super Duty would make a lot of sense. We have less than a week to find out if it becomes reality. ### **The bottom line on the 2023 Super Duty** The wait is almost over to see the new 2023 Ford Super Duty, and we wouldn’t be surprised if Ford dribbles out a few more teasers in the next few days.
