[This new midsize truck]() from General Motors will likely follow in [the new Chevy Colorado’s]() footsteps by focusing on off-road capability. The one big unknown is if GM will bring not only the AT4X edition to the Canyon but also Denali Ultimate like they do in the Sierra. That higher trim level also offers Super Cruise, semi-autonomous driving software, which was noticeably absent from the Chevy Colorado. Next, Ford CEO Jim Farley confirmed [a new Ford Super Duty truck]() will be unveiled by year end. While most of the changes will likely be cosmetic, there is an interesting question on whether or not Ford will offer a hybrid Super Duty with its [power on-board generator setup]() for remote camping or remote work sites. Then, Managing Editor Jill Ciminillo explains [her story on the Mazda CX-50]() with not only a new Meridian trim focused on off-road, but also the big price hike in just five months. Pricing was announced in March and it is already seeing a price hike of $2,000 on average per trim. Finally, Esterdahl talks about the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van he is driving this week and discovers the build and price tool on their website is working now (it didn’t work earlier in the day). While Esterdahl plays around with options and features, Ciminillo does her best to change the subject to literally anything else. Too late, Esterdahl is deep in the woods on the van. Many viewer questions are answered, and we discover one big thing: The new Chevy Colorado is actually smaller for rear-seat leg room compared to the prior generation. This basically ignores the criticism on the rear passenger room for taller passengers and instead makes it worse.
