Beginning with the [2022 JD Power Initial Quality Study](), Esterdahl proposes the study is garbage since it alludes to the COVID pandemic lowering quality, yet it points out that infotainment systems are still the primary issue for quality. Ciminillo counters Esterdahl’s points (as usual), suggesting the study merely references the pandemic and isn’t as exaggerated as Esterdahl makes it seem. They also debate if new-truck quality is really an issue or if it is just an aberration. Then, the discussion moves onto the new midsize trucks coming onto the market.
