While this teaser confirms a lot of what we already guessed, we see a few additional things that whet our appetite for more. The 2023 Colorado will be a third generation-vehicle on new platform, and here is what we can glean from the 24-second video, plus a few additional guesses. ### **Design changes** The video teaser, which was released on YouTube and Instagram, focuses primarily on the exterior, showcasing a new front fascia and grille as well as squintier headlights with LED daytime running lights. In fact, the nose looks downright sporty. The rear of the vehicle also gets a redesign with new taillights and tailgate design. **The ZR2 stuff** We see a Safari Bar on the front of the teaser truck, and it’s unclear if this is standard on the 2023 Colorado ZR2 or if it will be available. But the teaser does say it may block the front camera – which is a problem we see with the Warn winch on the new Ford Bronco Everglades. Though we only see the full truck from a distance, we see beefy all-terrain tires and an appearance package that has a decal over the front wheel wells. ### **Interior stuff** While the interior shots are minimal, we do get a glimpse at the sporty steering wheel of the 2023 Colorado ZR2 model, complete with the black Bow Tie badging, and we can make a few assumptions based on the [refreshed 2022 Silverado](). Think larger display screens, a completely digital gauge cluster, more premium materials and a Google-powered infotainment system. > View this post on Instagram > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > [A post shared by chevrolet (@chevrolet)]() ### **The bottom line on the 2023 Colorado ZR2** While we still don’t have any word on powertrains, as we pointed out in our spy shot video, rumors have it that the diesel will be replaced with the 2.7-liter, 4-cylinder engine from the Silverado. We’ll know more on July 28 after the official reveal. So, stay tuned. We anticipate more teasers in the next month and perhaps a few leaks.
