We see it with the new [Toyota Corolla Cross]() and the Volkswagen Atlas Cross. These vehicles are aimed for urban use and the 2022 Rogue Sport is no exception. For 2022, the Rogue Sport is available in three trim levels – S, SV and SL – each offered in front-wheel and intelligent all-wheel-drive configurations. ### 2022 Nissan Rogue Sport pricing The 2022 Rogue Sport starts at just less than $25k, and the complete pricing breakdown is as follows: - Rogue Sport S FWD — $24,260 - Rogue Sport SV FWD — $25,830 - Rogue Sport SL FWD — $28,890 - Rogue Sport S AWD — $25,760 - Rogue Sport SV AWD — $27,330 - Rogue Sport SL AWD — $30,390 ### Fuel economy and performance The 2022 Nissan Rogue Sport has a 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve inline 4-cylinder engine. This engine makes 141-horsepower and 147 pound-feet of torque. The Xtronic transmission with standard Eco Mode switch helps improve the fuel efficiency. Fuel economy is rated at 25 MPG in the city, 32 MPG on the highway and 28 MPG in combined driving for FWD models. Rogue Sport AWD models are rated at 24, 30 and 27 MPG, respectively. ### Nissan Safety Shield 360 For 2022, Nissan adds more safety features to the Rogue Sport including standard Nissan Safety Shield 360, which provides front, side and rear safety monitoring and intervention technologies. Safety Shield 360 includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear automatic braking, lane departure warning, radar-based blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert and high-beam assist. The 2022 Rogue Sport is also equipped with standard intelligent forward collision warning, which watches up to two cars ahead and gives a warning to slow down when it detects sudden deceleration in front of the vehicle. The standard intelligent lane intervention can detect if the vehicle is straying out of its lane and tap the brakes to help gently guide the vehicle back. Also standard on Rogue Sport SL are driver alert and traffic sign recognition. Driver alert is also available with the SV Technology Package. ### The bottom line on 2022 Nissan Rogue Sport There’s nothing major changed for the 2022 Rogue Sport because this smaller crossover went through a big overhaul a couple years ago. And with the growing trend of “crossing” vehicles up, look for more changes for the Rogue Sport in the future.
