(Photo by Brian Finn) After a rough first 30-days, we talked to Brian Finn about his 2020 Ford F-150, and he was feeling a little down. So, we wanted to touch base with him again at the 6-month mark and see if he’s still glad he bought the 2020 Ford F-150 2.7-liter V-6, and more importantly, would he buy it again? ### **First 30 days** The first few weeks of ownership were pretty rough for Finn, and [we talked to him about that in this video](). He had to have his dash replaced, and there was a recall on his truck’s backup camera. The whole experience with the dealership and the warranty was a bit frustrating. So, it’s good to see that things are looking up, and he’s enjoying his truck more now that some of those initial kinks were worked out. ### **Between then and now** We wanted to know if Finn’s truck had any other major issues since we last talked. The short answer is yes. The longer answer: He tried updating the Sync3 software over his home’s WiFi connection, and while the system said the update was complete and everything worked, a module for the radio went out and caused the radio to stay on. He could not turn the radio off, which was very annoying on a road trip. So, he took the truck back to the dealership, and they re-updated the software via flash drive. That fixed the issue. The good news: Since then, it’s been smooth sailing. ### **6 months, 11k miles** After some time in the truck, Finn reports zero issues with rattling of the interior. The truck is still as quiet as, if not quieter than, the day he bought it. He uses this truck for commuting and his family vehicle. (Pickup trucks are the new minivans, after all!) He really enjoys driving it, and says his wife, who owns a Tacoma, likes driving it too. The truck is a 2020 Ford F150 2.7-liter V-6 with a Crew Cab. It has the STS package, and it is a two-wheel-drive model. The STS package isn’t luxurious, but it’s not a work truck either. Finn finds it to be comfortable and practical for his family. The seats clean up well, the smaller engine means the truck is quieter overall, and he likes that he has plenty of room for up to six passengers — plus all the cargo space in the bed. ### **Beating Tim at the MPG game is a highlight** Getting 30 MPG on 87 octane fuel?
