As 2020 comes to a close (finally), one of the new trends (sprung from pandemic boredom) is recreating photos from years gone by. Santa and Ford joined the fun by recreating a photo from 1968, when Santa visited Ford’s cold room to do holiday run-through with the Gen-I Bronco. Apparently, Santa had stopped by verify the “Goes Over All Terrain” 4X4 would be prepped to take him on his trek around the world to deliver presents. Since the original photo got buried in the archives – and was never actually published – Ford figured it would be a good time to spread some holiday cheer to share the original photo along with Santa’s 2020 Christmas pre-check of the [all-new 2021 Bronco](). The new Bronco, [revealed this past summer](), will have two engine options: a 2.3-liter 4-cylinder EcoBoost and a 2.7-liter V-6 EcoBoost, which will deliver 270 and 310 horsepower, respectively. It comes in both two- and four-door variants, with [seven trims]() ranging from rugged to downright cool. The base price of [the Bronco]() will be $29,995 for the base two-door model and will range up to $63,100 for the First Edition model. Santa’s sleigh will be a two-door Outer Banks trim with the Sasquatch Package, brush bar and modular front bumper, decked out in holiday-appropriate Race Red paint ($47,365). We anticipate the 35-inch tires and high-clearance suspension from the Sasquatch Package will come in handy to ensure Santa makes it to every home in every nook and cranny of the world. Our question: Will it also have [the manual transmission]()? While most of the world won’t see their 2021 Bronco until summer thanks to [pandemic supply chain delays](), Santa is one of the lucky ones to get first dibs on his truck in time for a holly jolly Christmas.
