Obviously, we knew something was coming, but diagonal movement like a crab? Yep. GMC released a video confirming this new, unique feature called “Crabwalk” thanks to “four-wheel steering capability” found on the upcoming GMC Hummer EV. They also announced an October 20, 2020 reveal date for the all electric “Supertruck.” Don’t believe us? Check out the video. [Embedded video]() The EV truck will also have an SUV version as well and it is using the much anticipated Ultium battery GM has been working on for some time. This battery should be an improvement over existing battery technology and allow for faster charging among other things. While the return of the Hummer brings back memories of the large gas-guzzling version, this new EV only model will completely flip this perception on its head. So far, we have only seen [silhouettes of the truck and SUV]() along with this new video. In our view, the truck has a similar look to the discontinued Chevy Avalanche. The SUV looks almost identical to the old Hummer design. Customers will be able to [watch the reveal]() on October 20 and place a reservation at the same time (similar to how other brands are doing reveals). There are currently no details on price, range and other features. We expect all those details to be revealed. Our best guess is the truck will be in the mid $60ks for starting price, will have around 500 miles of range, a [targa top]() and will be filled with technology throughout. The maximum towing number will be quite high, however, the question will always remain: how long can you tow? This is something no EV truck has answered as of yet. What do you think?
