The idea of a 702 horsepower trailbusting Ram 1500 seemed like a wild insane fantasy dreamed up in the pages of a Spawn comic book. But Ram engineers delivered the goods. Of course, the question is, what does the engine sound like in a truck that’s already prompting Ford to allegedly explore putting the GT500’s engine into its next generation Raptor model? While the video only features a cold start and a subsequent idle, it’s certainly much more authoritative than any F-150 Raptor we’ve heard recently, and it should cause plenty of banter with your neighbors when you go out to start your truck every morning. As a bonus, this is the first time that we have seen a TRX in the wild that is adorned with this particular blue hue (with other pictures featuring either grey or red.) We like the way it meshes with the black lettering on the tailgate, and it makes a unique styling statement. As for the TRX itself, deliveries of the standard model to dealers are slated to take place by the end of the year. If your looking for a limited edition TRX Launch Edition?
