The exterior styling is clearly focused on sport, with the truck featuring 18-inch wheels that debut a trim exclusive design. The edges even feature machined edges for a smooth yet sophisticated look. Other goodies include fog lamps, tow hooks, and a large decal on the side of the bed. The interior stands out with a standard 8.0 inch infotainment screen that comes with Ford’s up-level SYNC 3 system. The unit also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which should please tech savvy buyers looking for maximum connectivity with their mobile devices. Dual-zone climate control is also standard on the STX, and the cabin is splashed with silver hued accents for a more modern look. Since this is a pure styling exercise, performance from the 2.3 liter EcoBoost engine remains unchanged when compared to other Ranger models. ![]() 2021 Ranger STX interior (Image Credit: Ford) As mentioned, the package is an XL model exclusive, but buyers can equip it to the SuperCrew or SuperCab body styles, as well as mate it to the [FX2 or FX4]() Off-Road packages. Thankfully, adding STX flair to your ride won’t torch your wallet, with Ford only charging $995 for the privilege. The STX’s appearance is part of a broader effort by the company [to keep the Ranger fresh]() in the eyes of customers. A next generation model is in the pipeline, but it won’t appear for awhile, with rumors suggesting that it could appear as early as 2022.
