This year’s event is themed around the Ram brand, but a sketch released on the official flyer for the event has our attention for a very good reason. That’s because it appears to be [a cleverly veiled glimpse]() into the design direction for the upcoming Ram Rebel TRX. [Embedded video]() The TRX is designed to be a capable competitor for the Ford F-150 Raptor, with the Rebel TRX moniker obviously trying to double down on its jurassic superiority. The sketch itself features a yellow truck that incorporates an aggressive front end design. Gray plastic cladding helps enhance its Raptor fighting credentials while wide fender flares try to hide a widened front track. The hood also has been revamped here, with a big hood scoop to accent the front grille, as well as louvers to help assist with keeping the engine cool. The sketch is very similar to the TRX concept which debuted back in 2016, and the heavily veiled testers that are currently lurking around in Metro Detroit also have some characteristics that match including bigger rear fenders, increased camouflage in the hood area, and a wider stance.
