This kind of thinking lead to new versions pushing out 1000 HP and we like it! [Embedded video]() [Specialty Vehicle Engineering]() (SVE) has created these high output, supercharged Tahoe and Suburban. Both of them get the same engine treatment to hit 1000 HP and both can be ordered through your local Chevy dealer. ![1000 HP 2019 Chevy Tahoe/Suburban On Sale Now]()In order to reach 1000 HP, you will need to first purchase a new Tahoe or Suburban with the 5.3L V8. Then, for another $66k, you can send it off to SVE who will yank out that small block for a stroked LT1 6.2L V8 LT1 engine. After modifications, the engine becomes a 6.8L V-8 with forged internals, an upgraded fuel system, full stainless steel exhaust from the headers back and the aforementioned supercharger. ![1000 HP 2019 Chevy Tahoe/Suburban On Sale Now]()With the engine upgraded, next SVE installs a heavy-duty automatic transmission to handle all the power. Finally, an optional suspension upgrade with sport springs lower the ride height two inches in front and three inches in back for better stability. SVE also offers additional optional content in the form of 22-inch Falken Zeiz wheels with a satin paint finish. ![1000 HP 2019 Chevy Tahoe/Suburban On Sale Now]()If 1000 HP is just too much, SVE is also offering a 810 HP version for an additional $44,995. They differentiate the two versions with “Stage 1” and “Stage 2” names. The 1,000 horsepower version is Stage 2, while the 810 horsepower vehicle is, that’s right, Stage 1. The Stage 1 has a smaller supercharger, and the upgraded transmission is optional instead of standard. There is also one other trade-off with the different trucks in Stage 1 has the option of going with a 4WD drive version while the Stage 2 is only available as a 2WD.
